Technology enhanced learning (TEL) is the strategic use of technology to improve educational experience and outcomes for students.   

It goes beyond just using computers and virtual learning environments to make learning more engaging, personalized, and accessible. TEL can be applied to various formats, from augmenting face-to-face classes to fully online and blended learning environments.
