Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP)

Available for all staff and faculty

The university offers the following service a 24/7 program provides a free and confidential range of services to faculty, staff and their immediate family members, including personal, group and crisis counseling, tools to manage stress and a variety of wellness resources. 

U of M engages a service called Kii by Cloud MD to provide all EFAP services.    For urgent, immediate support please telephone: 1-866-814-0018

Tenure and promotion application support for

Indigenous Faculty Members

 

The Office of the Vice-President Indigenous (OVPI) offers a support program specifically for Indigenous Scholars who are preparing their tenure and/or promotion applications.

Our Indigenous Faculty Success Coordinator, Naithan Lagace, is available to assist Indigenous Scholars with:

  1. Creating a timeline for the development of a tenure/promotion package. From initial development to the final stages, we can help create a framework for effective package development.

  2. Identifying and planning for acquiring content for packages, including letters of recommendation from students, community service partners, etc.

  3. Highlighting and articulating experiences within teaching, research, and community service dossiers sections of packages.
