Tenure and promotion application support for
Indigenous Faculty Members
The Office of the Vice-President Indigenous (OVPI) offers a support program specifically for Indigenous Scholars who are preparing their tenure and/or promotion applications.
Our Indigenous Faculty Success Coordinator, Naithan Lagace, is available to assist Indigenous Scholars with:
-
Creating a timeline for the development of a tenure/promotion package. From initial development to the final stages, we can help create a framework for effective package development.
-
Identifying and planning for acquiring content for packages, including letters of recommendation from students, community service partners, etc.
-
Highlighting and articulating experiences within teaching, research, and community service dossiers sections of packages.
Naithan Lagace can be reached by email at naithan.lagace@umanitoba.ca or by phone at 204-599-0053.
