Doctors of Manitoba Medal of Excellence a new honour to recognize those who demonstrate excellence in the medical profession and whose actions are a source of inspiration for other physicians was awarded to Dr. Kerrie Wyant, a community faculty member at 601 Aikins in Winnipeg.
The Artemis Group - Award of Excellence, consisting of eight family physicians who practice intrapartum obstetrics at St. Boniface Hospital, was recognized with an Award of Excellence for providing family and community-oriented option for patients and for ensuring residents have exposure to this important aspect of family medicine.
