Tenure and promotion application support for

Indigenous Faculty Members

The Office of the Vice-President Indigenous (OVPI) offers a support program specifically for Indigenous Scholars who are preparing their tenure and/or promotion applications.

Our Indigenous Faculty Success Coordinator, Naithan Lagace, is available to assist Indigenous Scholars with:

  1. Creating a timeline for the development of a tenure/promotion package. From initial development to the final stages, we can help create a framework for effective package development.

  2. Identifying and planning for acquiring content for packages, including letters of recommendation from students, community service partners, etc.

  3. Highlighting and articulating experiences within teaching, research, and community service dossiers sections of packages.

Naithan Lagace can be reached by email at naithan.lagace@umanitoba.ca or by phone at 204-599-0053.
